Internship Options

Animal Care Interns

  • Commitment: 16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts) for a minimum of 200 hours.
  • Role: Assist in our Avian Nursery and General Triage areas.
  • Learn: Animal handling, medical rehab procedures, diet preparation, and habitat maintenance.
  • Best For: Students in animal science, zoology, veterinary studies, or related fields.

Administrative Interns

  • Commitment: Flexible hours with a focus on administrative tasks.
  • Role: Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management.
  • Learn: Social media management, graphic design, event planning, and office operations.
  • Best For: Individuals interested in business, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work.

Age Requirements

  • Animal Care Interns: 18 years or older.
  • Administrative Interns: 16 years or older.
