At the Wildlife Care Association (WCA), our dedicated volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission, providing essential care and support to animals in need. We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals ready to roll up their sleeves and join our vibrant team.

  • Hands-On Experience: Engage directly with wildlife, from daily care routines to assisting in rehabilitation efforts.
  • Flexible Roles: Whether you’re interested in animal care, administrative tasks, or facility maintenance, we have a spot that fits your skills and schedule.
  • Community Impact: Play a pivotal role in rescuing and rehabilitating local wildlife, contributing to the preservation of our natural heritage.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Animal Care and Administrative Volunteers: Commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week over 15 weeks, totaling 48 hours.
  • Transport, Facility Maintenance, and Project Volunteers: Offer your skills as needed, with a flexible commitment of 12+ hours monthly.
  • Hotline and Intake Volunteers: Dedicate 3-hour shifts, either remotely or on-site, totaling 48 hours over 18 weeks.

Age Requirements:

  • Animal Care Volunteers: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Administrative, Hotline, Intake, and Project Volunteers: Open to individuals 16 years and older.

You’ll attach the completed waiver to the application below under the “Upload Waivers/MOU document” section. You can also bring a signed copy to orientation or email the signed copy to [email protected], or fill the waiver out in person at orientation.
