[Feb 17th] Nuts & Berries Raffle

We are happy to announce our annual drawing for a round-trip cruise for two from San Francisco to Alaska for 10 days. The event will be a raffle of more than $12,000 in prizes.

The festivities will begin at noon when Conservation Ambassadors will hold several presentations with exotic animals such as a Capuchin Monkey, an African Crested Porcupine and a crocodile.

This will be a very casual event in which will include door prizes the first hour, light snacks, and refreshments. The event is open to the public and admission is free for anyone that purchased at least one raffle ticket.

In addition, we will live stream the raffle draw, so you can watch to see if you won, even if you can’t make the event. The raffle draw will begin at 2 pm and will be live streamed on Facebook.

We have received most of the donations listed above, but in a case that we do not receive a donation that has been committed, some of the prize packages may be slightly altered. We will be posting prize packages daily on Facebook.

No prize will have a value of under $100.

Money must be received for raffle tickets bought via mail and online no later than Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 by midnight. The only way to purchase tickets after February 3rd will be at the event held on February 17th. Prizes larger than gift certificates will not be mailed and must be picked up at the event or our facility in McClellan Park after the event.

Information on watching the raffle draw live online will be posted on our website by February 10th, 2019.

Stats from 2018 are as follows: 9 prize-winners purchased one ticket. 13 prize-winners purchased two tickets. 18 prize winners, including the grand prize winner, purchased three tickets or more. Two prize-winners that purchased more than three tickets won multiple prizes.

Stats from 2017 are as follows: 9 prize-winners purchased one ticket. 6 prize-winners purchased 2 tickets, including the grand prize winner of the cruise. 16 winners purchased at least 3 tickets and 2 winners that each purchased at least six tickets each won 2 prizes.
